Meals
All children have a mid morning and afternoon snack and drink. Staff and children sit together in 'family' units to eat a freshly cooked two course lunch at 12.30pm. We have our own kitchen and fully trained chef who is also qualified as a Montessori Assistant Directress. The children serve themselves from dishes placed on each table and are involved with the preparation, laying tables and clearing away.
Clevedon Montessori recognises the importance of a well-balanced and nutritious diet and therefore we use fresh ingredients where possible and avoid the use of artificial additives. All dietary needs are catered for.
Our latest Environmental Health hygiene rating is ‘5’ the highest rating (very good).
